Vitamin C - strengthening the immunity of horses, collagen synthesis, MSM, and hyaluronic acid
Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant. It positively influences the maintenance of the physiological balance of connective, cartilaginous, and bone tissues, as well as the formation of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
Increased demand for vitamin C occurs in stressful situations (such as transportation and competition), intensified training, convalescence (after injuries or illnesses), weakness, and allergies. Especially during periods of limited access to pasture, the ability to obtain an adequate amount of vitamin C from fodder is significantly reduced.
Tip: It is recommended to especially enrich the diet with vitamin C for those horses that do not have access to pasture and are subjected to intensive training. Additionally, it is advisable to administer vitamin C as a supplement alongside collagen or MSM treatment to enhance synthesis and digestibility.
The 1000g package is enough for 50 days.
